If you are in need of Emergency Food Assistance from Care & Share, you  should first contact us via telephone, at 860-739-8502.   The telephone responder will discuss your need with you, and arrange for a volunteer to make a delivery to your home or other location. 

When a request for assistance is granted, Care & Share will deliver food or arrange for you to pick it up at the food pantry or another location.

Emergency Food Assistance is for a single event of need.  If you have ongoing needs that you cannot meet with your own resources or other assistance, we may be able to supply you with a list of other local agencies and food pantries that may be able to help you.  There are local food pantries that provide weekly food distribution, as well as sites that provide hot meals.
