Care & Share assists families in the East Lyme/Niantic and Salem communities with  tuition assistance for childrens’ summer camp.  We also provide scholarships to recent high school graduates as well as adults, helping to defray some of the costs of college and other secondary school education.

Camperships

In the Spring of each year, Care & Share accepts requests for camperships for children in the communities we serve: East Lyme/Niantic and Salem. Care & Share will pay the tuition for a limited number of campers. In order to maximize the number of children able to attend camps Care & Share coordinates funds with outside grants and with organizations and sponsors.

Scholarships

Each Spring, Care & Share accepts applications for college and other secondary school scholarships from members of the local community.

Care & Share offers scholarships to help defray the cost of tuition, fees or books for eligible students.  Monetary awards are based upon financial need and academic success.  Student applicants must be residents of East Lyme/Niantic or Salem, and have just graduated from high school and have been accepted to an accredited institution of higher learning, or, be a continuing student at an accredited institution of higher learning.
